Galvin Green AUGUST Gore-Tex Waterproof Trousers

The New 2012 spring/Summer Collection from Galvin Green is still offering its best selling incredible outer layer trousers, the AUGUST, with an unrivaled performed for the (sometimes) wet and rainy weather on the golf course! With these trousers Galvin Green offer the guarantee that they will keep you dry! That's a bold statement but tried and tested by our staff and we can confirm so far so good. When it rains on the golf course, there is no substitute for a good set of waterproofs and there is no substitute for Galvin Green waterproof clothing – simply the best!

The AUGUST trousers are made from Gore-Tex but Paclite Shell fabric instead of Performance Shell. The laminated Gore-Tex Paclite membrane is very durable for wind and water protection but the fabric is ultra light and ultra packable, making them extremely hard wearing and very easy to wash and maintain. The fabric is also highly breathable material which enables the release of excess heat and moisture and Galvin Green guarantee to keep you dry. These also have an elasticated waist.

The main difference in these trousers compared to the ALF waterproofs is the Ultra-light Paclite fabric of the August trousers which is barely half the weight of conventional Gore-Tex rainwear, the unique abrasion-resistant lamination of Paclite fabric eliminates the need for any additional lining making these the perfect rainwear for the golfer who prefers to carry his bag. Despite its light weight, no compromise has been made and both the ALF and AUGUST trousers are fantastic rainwear.
