The ball sets off right
of your intended target and curls even further right.
Faults in the setup could be:
The clubface could be open at address
(pointing right).
The hands may be set behind the ball.
The grip may be weak (too far to the
left of the grip)
The ball may be too far back in the
stance.
The body alignment may be closed (aiming
right of the target)
The weight may be positioned on the
heels.
Faults in the swing could be:
A flat backswing. The club goes too
far around the body in the backswing promoting a rolling
of the wrists and an open clubface.
Sliding the hips forward to initiate
the downswing. There will be a feeling of lost height
and a strain on the back at the follow through position.

Simply dipping into the ball
restricts width in the downswing and the required arm
extention to re-align a clubface to the intended target
line
