The circle which the clubhead travels
around the body is known as the ‘Swing Plane’.
The swing plane effects the path of a golf club travelling
through the impact area.
The importance of swing path is that it is this that
will largely determine a golf balls initial direction.
Although very important, swing plane is virtually self
finding in most cases, as it is govourned by correct Posture
and Alignment.
Due to the change in club length the swing plane may feel a little different
however make no attempt to change your body’s swing habit’s
to counter act these feelings as they are normal and correct.
Notes:
- Work hard at your Posture and Alignment.
- Allow no tension to build under the armpits.
- The swing path has more bearing on a golf balls initial
flight, the faster the swing.
- As the swing speed reduces, the face angle
at impact has more control.
