Course Strategy Assessing
your strength and weaknesses on a golf course will give you the important
information required for development of weaker areas.
Ladies tend to lack in distance yet strive continuously
for more.
Would it be more logical to work at the areas of the
game that would far greater benefit and are achievable by all: e.g. short
game.
Pitching, chipping and putting do not require strength.
Just because you cannot hit a ball as far as John Daly, doesn’t
mean you cannot be a better pitcher, chipper or putter. (see relevant
sections)
Gentlemen tend to have reasonable power but with little
control. So long as it goes a Long way they are usually happy.
I stress the need for a greater understanding of the
fundamentals of a golf swing to allow an individual to control their power.
If a gentleman is not prepared to work at 'tempo
and balance' I suggest they work at such things as, punch shots, high
lob shots, all the recovery shots required for getting out of trouble.
