The term ‘Body Alignment’
relates to the positioning of the:
--feet
- knees
- hips
- shoulders
In relation
to your intended target line.
In order to have the opportunity to reproduce a straight
flighted golf shot the line through the feet, knees, hips and shoulders
should be ‘Parallel’ to the intended target line.
The simplest way to visualise this is to imagine that
you are stood on the inner side of a railway track and the ball is on
the outside track.
Follow these simple steps for Parallel Body Alignment:
Step
1.Pick a blade of grass no further than 1 metre in front
of your ball that is on your target line.
Step 2. Focus
between these 2 points visualising that line as the outer rail track.
Step 3. Position
your body the correct distance from the ball on the inside railtrack
ensuring that feet, knees, hips and shoulders are parallel.

Notes:
Poor alignment promotes adjustments through the swing to compensate therefore
encouraging more and more faults.
Work hard
at your Alignment!
